Associate and Analyst opportunities – requirements

The ideal candidate will come from a major investment bank or consultancy and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He / she will have at least 1.5 years of experience and no more than 4 years with Oil & Gas, Natural Resources, Power or Generalist M&A pool.

Excellent technical skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a client facing role. Although the majority of the firm’s mandates are in Emerging Markets, deals are Energy Sector related; hence, specific language skills are not required and only London based applicants will be considered.

Additional Analyst opportunities exist for recent graduates interested in our specialist M&A practice. We particularly welcome applications from those with petroleum engineering degrees and newly qualified ACA/MBA/Law qualification levels. Applicants with no prior experience in Oil & Gas and / or M&A must possess an excellent academic record, with strong numerical skills, and must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in corporate finance. Experience of financial modeling is advantageous.

Interviews

The purpose of the first interview is to help us to get to know you, determine your suitability for a particular area of our business, and for you to ask questions about us. Your second round interview will be more technical in nature, and we will continue to assess your compatibility with the firm.
